📊 Our Federal Employment Myth Buster Poll results are in! 📊   Last week we asked followers to select the truest statement from a list of four myths about federal employment.   One of the statements was 💯 true – federal resumes may be longer than two pages. A resume submitted with a federal job application may require more information than a typical resume so it may be longer than two pages.    But, the other three statements were half or somewhat true. Here’s a breakdown of those myths:   🕶️ Not all jobs require a secret clearance. However, all federal positions require the candidate to undergo a suitability adjudication process to determine if the individual is suitable for federal employment.  ⚡ Some agencies use an automated system AND manual review of applications by HR specialists.  📁 People with criminal records are eligible to compete for a vast majority of federal jobs. Honoring Vietnam Veterans: Then, Now and Always On National Vietnam War Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who served during one of our nation’s most challenging conflicts. During the Vietnam War, DLA – then known as the Defense Supply Agency – played a vital role, delivering fuel, food, clothing, medical supplies and construction materials to U.S. forces operating in a complex and demanding environment. Our support helped sustain Warfighters in the field and laid the foundation for how we deliver global logistics today. That mission hasn’t changed. Today, DLA continues to stand behind every service member, ensuring they have the right supplies at the right time – just as we did over 50 years ago. To our Vietnam Veterans: We remember. We honor. We thank you.
