The future of hospital-at-home is becoming clearer — and stronger. In last week’s Home Health Care News feature, our CEO Jennifer Webster shares why the pending merger between DispatchHealth and Medically Home is more than a combination of two companies. It’s a signal that hospital-level care in the home is here to stay. Improving affordability and health outcomes by bringing high-quality care to patients at home - that's the challenge we're tackling at DispatchHealth. Our partnership with Regence has shown remarkable results in improving ER diversion and reducing 30-day readmissions, while also providing an improved experience for Regence plan members. With 72 million Americans turning 65 by 2030, our hospital-level care at home is more crucial than ever. Learn more about our innovative model in the latest Regence HealthChangers podcast episode featuring Dr. Stefen Ammon, DispatchHealth's Medical Director of Clinical Practice.

DispatchHealth and Medically Home have signed a definitive agreement to merge and create the most comprehensive, scaled provider of high-acuity in-home care in the U.S. By combining DispatchHealth’s high-acuity care delivery expertise with Medically Home’s hospital-at-home enablement, we’re setting a new standard for hospital-level care in the home—giving patients, health systems, and health plans the confidence to embrace care at home at scale. This Patient Safety Week, let's shine a light on the incredible benefits of providing care at home! At DispatchHealth, we have treated thousands of patients in their home with safety metrics that are as good and often better than facility-based care. In addition, our 30-day readmission rates represent a 50% decrease as compared to similar hospitalized patients. As a testament to our safe and high-quality care, we recently received the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC)'s new In-Home Hospital Care Accreditation for our Advanced Care service.
