On April 21st 5pm we are hosting Susie Wee, PhD, CEO and Co-founder of DevAI,  at Pear VC.  Susie is going to tell us about being a PhD turned CEO. She has an incredible background having led Cisco’s global developer program, holds 57 patents, and earned her PhD in EECS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We will be talking about: 💰 AI Researcher Grant, a new Pear program  for entrepreneurial PhDs and Professors working on AI applications.The grant includes $250K in funding and $600K in cloud credits to support company-building efforts. 🚀 PearX, our pre-seed to seed 12 week bootcamp program. Happy 1st Birthday, DevAI! I’m happy to share that DevAI is now 1 year old! We incorporated DevAI on January 12, 2024. It’s incredible to reflect on our growth as a company and our personal growth as startup founders / entrepreneurs. Yes, we learned so much! My biggest learning is: Entrepreneurship is a team sport. While we have a lot of hard work ahead, DevAI’s success to date is because of the great team around us - this includes our employees, our customers and partners, and our investors! Some of our highlights of 2024: Our DevAI team * Co-founding DevAI with Edwin Zhang - my colleague and friend of more than 10 years - and collaborating to build a new business from the ground up. * Hiring a crackerjack founding team - who have expertise and humbleness and build our culture of customer focus, speed, agility, authenticity, and teamwork. Ignacio Valenzuela, Jason Zhou Our Customers and Partners * Working with all our enterprise customers and IT partners who have been so generous and patient in our customer discovery interviews and helped us pivot from a general enterprise AI developer platform into an enterprise IT AI business. * Working for hours on end with our amazing enterprise design partners, who truly help us shape and form our product and our business - down to every feature and integration.
