Let there be LIGHT 🌞 Another pesky sidewalk shed has bitten the dust! This one in Chelsea which has finally been taken down after 8(❗❗) years! This shed is about to be joined by a whole bunch of its friends in the dust heap, thanks to the New York City Council passing new #GetShedsDown legislation that will give us stronger enforcement tools for compelling owners to remove these structures. Sidewalk sheds are essential for safety, but they should never become a substitute for completing necessary repairs and maintaining Code compliance. NYC is making moves to clear out these eyesores and keep buildings safe.
