Our department was thrilled to take part in Piglet Day at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center! Over 600 guests joined us for this incredible event, where they had the chance to interact with piglets, learn more about swine production, and engage in hands-on educational activities.
A huge thank you to the Wisconsin Pork Association and Peter Family Show Pigs for helping bring this experience to life. Events like these are a fantastic way to connect the public with agriculture, and we’re always excited to share our passion for animal science! 🐷💗

This past weekend, we welcomed over 600 guests to one of our most popular events: Piglet Day! 🐷
Peter Family Show Pigs brought a mama sow and her adorable piglets, giving our guests the unique opportunity to interact with and pet them. The WISCONSIN PORK ASSOCIATION and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Animal & Dairy Sciences added to the excitement with hands-on, interactive swine activities, making the day educational and fun!
