A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended Deaconess Health System’s Passport to Nursing event! We were thrilled to welcome local high school students and their families for a day of exploration and inspiration. Attendees had the chance to tour our hospital, connect with our outstanding nursing leaders, and gain valuable insight from college representatives about beginning their journey into the nursing profession. Today, we were joined by Deaconess and community leaders for the groundbreaking of the region’s first-ever combined ER and Urgent Care facility, bringing innovative, patient-centered care to our community. This new model eliminates the guesswork for patients by providing the right level of care in one location.
