  • A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended Deaconess Health System’s Passport to Nursing event! We were thrilled to welcome local high school students and their families for a day of exploration and inspiration. Attendees had the chance to tour our hospital, connect with our outstanding nursing leaders, and gain valuable insight from college representatives about beginning their journey into the nursing profession. A special thank you to UE and USI for sharing their expertise and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. It was truly inspiring to see so many future nurses eager to make a difference in their communities through compassionate care.

  • Today, we were joined by Deaconess and community leaders for the groundbreaking of the region’s first-ever combined ER and Urgent Care facility, bringing innovative, patient-centered care to our community. This new model eliminates the guesswork for patients by providing the right level of care in one location. The new facility will be adjacent to the Deaconess Lynch Road Clinic, which will remain open. Stay tuned for updates as we bring this vision to life. Learn more at: https://ow.ly/shjj50VxtP3

  • We’re excited to announce our partnership with Holly's House to strengthen child abuse prevention efforts through innovative education! Thanks to a generous grant, Deaconess Family Medicine resident Dr. Brooke Aljandali is leading the integration of a pediatric tool kit from The Mama Bear Effect into well-child visits. This valuable tool kit empowers children to recognize and speak out about abuse, while equipping families with the knowledge to protect their loved ones.
