I very much enjoyed my trip to Washington DC, where I had the privilege to attend the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA) fly-in conference. There, I met some interesting and amazing people, including but not limited to Tim Kravitz and David Pickerell. This was a great opportunity to gain insight into the world of deliveries, as well as the challenges facing the industry. I would love to attend another event some time in the future.

Yesterday, Tim Kravitz represented LTHQ at the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA) Fly-In in Washington, DC. This event aimed to advocate for final mile companies and the greater logistics industry. This opportunity allowed us to engage directly with policymakers, educating them on industry challenges, and highlighting the vital role we play in the supply chain. It also covered key topics and reinforced the importance of the independent contractor model. We were glad to participate and contribute to shaping the future of final mile logistics!

#CLDA recently honored three supply chain veterans who have significantly impacted the last-mile sector. Errol Cvern, Mark Cossack and the late Randy Edmonds were recognized at the CLDA’s Final Mile Forum in San Diego. Cvern was inducted into the CLDA Hall of Fame at the meeting. He is the retired CFO & President of Select Express & Logistics, which is now AIT Worldwide Logistics. Mark Cossack received the CLDA’s Distinguished Service Award. He is the CEO Priority Courier Experts. Randy Edmonds also received the CLDA’s Distinguished Service Award posthumously. Before passing away in 2024, he was Executive Vice President of ADL Final Mile. His wife, Unna and daughter, Ashley, accepted the award in his honor https://lnkd.in/gwc_NFic
