Over the weekend, AnimalLuvr's Dream Rescue, Inc hosted a community event along with local shelter partners and Harmony Vet Care. Harmony vaccinated and microchipped nearly 100 pets and also performed exams — all free of charge. Thanks to CUDDLY, we gave away more than 1,000 pounds of free pet food. Our local animal services team gave away free flea & tick prevention, and animal control provided valuable resources and information. I’m proud to volunteer for a rescue that saves the most vulnerable animals and is committed to educating and supporting our community. While these type of events take a lot of work, I am reminded of the Bible verse 2 Thessalonians 3:13: "As for you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary in doing good." This is a verse that perfectly applies to our mission at #AdventHealth as well. It is a blessing to be involved with two organizations that are deeply invested in the health and wellbeing of our communities (and their pets 😉).
