Covenant Community Care recently partnered with United Health Care and Henry Ford Health to offer mammograms onsite to our eligible UHC patients. And we even spent some time inside the unit learning about their program, and their staff did some teaching with ours on self-breast exams. #CovenantCommunityCare #Mammograms #CommunityHealth #DetroitMI

Thank you to Detroit Councilmember Fred Durhal for attending the Dress For Success Resource Fair at Southfield location last week. The event was presented by the City of Detroit’s Returning Citizens Task Force and helps people succeed at job fairs by providing business casual clothing, resume writing tips, interview etiquette and more.

At Covenant Community Care, we provide many services in our women's health clinic. We offer care during and after pregnancy and our Centering team has parenting groups which allows mothers and babies to have their pediatric visits in a group setting with care needs and guidance provided by our Medical Family Practice provider Dr. Chase Thebault. This is a relaxed and fun setting for checkups, fellowship and more. This program lets women have more time with providers and helps foster bonds with other mothers. This group includes mothers who don't always have family or friends nearby and has been active for more than 10 years at our Michigan Avenue Clinic. #WomensHealth #Pregnancy #Childbirth #CovenantCommunityCare https://lnkd.in/gikx6gD8

On Friday, our team participated in a workshop on Strength and Resilience led by Joscelyn Davis from Jade Strategies at Grace Community Church. During this workshop, we learned essential skills that will equip our team with resilience as we carry out our mission.

For their Capstone Project, the University of Michigan of Public Health Graduate Student Team are working on creating recommendations on how to establish a Patient Advisory Committee and other guidelines to increase Covenant Community Care's engagement with patients.
