OMG I can't BELIEVE that we won the 🏆𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗛𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗🏆 at the AECtech London Hackathon, and 💰💰💰 (I've never won 𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 in my life 🤯, let alone 💰). Presenting 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻, an AI assistant for Grasshopper that creates custom plugins (tested with ChatGPT & OpenAI API). Plugin is precompiled with GitHub Action on cloud and fetched to the local plugin directory, paving the way for "AI Factories," integrations of our server based backend query framework with other AEC software and AI tools. 🚀 Just spend an incredible weekend at the #AEC_Tech_Hackathon in #London, and I’m excited to share that our team(Keerti Manney Raoul de Jonge Pooyan Kazemi Simon Lut Giandomenico Azzone Sergio Neves Matthijs Beekman) consists of various disciplinary background, won 2nd prize – "The Most Collaborative" Hack! 🏆 We explored how AI can make architectural design more intuitive and accessible by integrating #Rhino3D, the #Model_Context_Protocol (MCP), and #Claude_AI. Our hack was to let the users generate geometry and drawings in Rhino using natural language — you can type “build a city” in the chat, and it should be able to generate a full urban layout. It could also generate geometry based on images. ✨ The vision was to take this even further by building in analysis capabilities — such as sunlight, microclimate, and performance feedback — all conversationally. While we didn’t get to fully implement that part during the hack, the potential for a fully AI-assisted design-feedback loop is real and exciting. It was a weekend full of creativity, collaboration, and learning — I had the chance to connect with some amazing people from the AEC community and also dive deeper into the #Rhino_ecosystem and #MCP. 🖥️ Here’s a peek at our project: https://lnkd.in/gtip7EV5 Thanks, CORE studio at Thornton Tomasetti for organizing this nice event.
