Troublemakers for a Better World™

About us

CONVICTS is a digital media brand and creative studio that aims to make the world a better place through original storytelling. We’re all about the right kind of trouble: the status-quo shaking, rebelliously positive actions and attitudes that move the needle from bad to good. To this end, we develop and distribute premium original content and programming about the creators, characters, and movements making the right kind of trouble in contemporary culture. We amplify their voices through our cross-channel network that reaches a global community of conscious tastemakers.

  • Creating with complete freedom has always been part of our CONVICTS mission. Save The Dinos! is our latest Originals project and a perfect example of making without any rules. A bunch of hipster dinosaurs saving the planet while partying is just what we think the world needs right now.. This will be an animated TV show in the very near future, and this is a little sample of what's to come. There is a huge cast of contributing creatives to this project, thanks to everyone for helping along the way! Introducing Save The Dinos! A CONVICTS Original. Being a creative studio means pushing ourselves. Making original work, telling stories we care about, and showing up in culture on our own terms. Born from one of our weekly pitch meetings, Save The Dinos! is an adult animated series that asks: how do we keep laughing, growing up, partying, being kind, making messes, forgiving each other… in a world that feels like it’s falling apart? We wish those questions didn’t hit so hard. But that’s exactly why we made a crew of Gen Z dinosaurs to ask them. We launched the IP last weekend around Coachella (aka Clawchella — the greatest dino rave of all time) with this teaser, now gaining momentum online with 50K views and counting. Check it out… but yeah, definitely NSFW: https://lnkd.in/gtaWhVSB . . . • Cam Avery dreamt of one kind of tour…but ended up on another kind altogether. Growing up, the bassist of Tame Impala aimed to be the world’s best golfer, but life got loud, and the music had other plans. Much like the game of golf itself, Cam’s evolved over the past decade. Now, he’s reconnecting with his roots, one hole at a time…and bringing a whole new perspective to the game. Welcome to The Comeback: https://lnkd.in/gFsHX8Pm . . . The Australia In the Sky Campaign we created for Qantas North America is grounded in the experience of magic: the magic of Australia, the wonder of air travel, and the unparalleled Qantas experience. And who better to capture that enchantment than the Aussie master of cinema himself, Baz Luhrmann? We enlisted the iconic director as a creative consultant to help bring this larger-than-life vision to life. Need some creative magic of your own? Hit us up: work@convicts.nyc

Talent partnership by CONVICTS: Do Kane and Pia Muehlenbeck maybe live the life we all dream of? As beloved global travel influencers… yeah, they kinda do. But here’s something you might not know about Pia and Kane: they’re also some of the kindest, humblest, and most fun folks we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We teamed up with Pia and Kane as talent for our recent Qantas campaign, and they absolutely crushed it, while becoming part of the CONVICTS fam along the way. Cheers, Pia and Kane. Thanks for being legends and for the incredible work! Check out their VLOG in the comments. For future creative collaborations, drop us an email: work@convicts.nyc.

  • Some projects make an impact far beyond the work itself—and this is one of them. Our latest work for Estée Lauder’s Skin Longevity Institute in Palo Alto didn’t just highlight the science of longevity; it left us feeling like we gained a few extra years ourselves. It’s always a privilege partnering with the incredible team at Estée, especially alongside legends like these. Thanks to everyone involved for the outstanding work! • At CONVICTS, we reject tall poppy syndrome. But still, we’ve got Aussie in our soul, and thus hate to blow our own horn, self-promote, or talk about how great we are… Which is why we appreciate all the journos and publications that gave us some sweet press around the launch of the Australia In The Sky campaign we created for Qantas…so someone else could do it for us. That being said, we feel compelled to make a few corrections to the journalistic record*. The Hollywood Reporter IMDb.com AviationSource JohnnyJet.com Travel And Tour World Roastbrief
