🚧 🏗️ This time next year, East Greensboro community residents will be able to get care at Cone Health's Urgent Care and Primary Care facility! The #ResurgentProject marks a significant economic and medical milestone for the region. Cone Health’s CATCH 5-in-5 initiative has identified the area as a place where people have 15 years shorter lifespans than people living in other areas. Low-incomes and a lack of easy access to health care are among the reasons for the gap. This project addresses both.
Exciting to witness the progress of our projects firsthand! Last week, The Innovate Fund team visited the Resurgent project in Greensboro, NC, and it's fantastic to see the construction progress. This transformative initiative is a testament to the power of community development and strategic partnerships. This time next year community residents will be able to take advantage of Cone Health's urgent and primary care facility on-site, students and community leaders can participate in the Entrepreneur Resource Hub, and North Carolina A&T Real Estate Foundation, Inc. will continue to provide exceptional leadership in their new office space! We all love the live-action procedures and intensity of deploying ECMO. However, your success in ECMO cannulation is determined by your work behind the scenes, building interdisciplinary relationships, and providing educational support. This morning, Hanna B. gave an excellent presentation on anesthesia and ECLS at the Cone Health anesthesia skills fair. When time is limited to offer education for whole departments, tagging onto mandatory meetings is a great option to reach teams.
