Community members are getting fraudulent calls from phone numbers with the 802 area code posing to be from Community National Bank. The fraudster claims that there are fraudulent charges on your bank card, and they proceed to ask for card number, expiration date, security code and PIN. Do not give out any information! The bank will never ask for this! Hang up immediately! If you are tricked into giving out information, call your bank immediately for help. This scam can take on many variations. The bottom line is Never Give Out Information! The bank will never ask for this information.
