Last week we stood strong at the NJ State House Annex to say loud and clear: 📢HANDS OFF MEDICAID! 📢We are so proud to see so many come out to protest any cuts to Medicaid! Medicaid is more than healthcare! It allows the people we support to live independently, access support staff, assistive technology, and so much more. In December, we had the joy of "Adopting a Classroom" and surprising a kindergarten class of students that have disabilities with sensory toys! 🎁 They loved the gifts, and it helped them to be more focused in the classroom. The class showed their gratitude by creating a custom sign and heartfelt thank-you card for us. From ensuring smooth operations to prioritizing member medical needs, Abie’s compassion and commitment shine through every day. She even goes the extra mile (literally!) to her members specialist’s office to get consults and scripts as needed. She says, "I enjoy being around them and being a source of help to them." Working with her members every day and helping them build their skills so they can live more independently is a big source of pride for Abie.
