Kemp Announces a New Manufacturing Facility for Flock Safety in Smyrna Leading safety technology solutions provider, Flock Safety is opening a new, 97,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, creating 210 new jobs over the next three years. This project represents a $10 million investment by Flock Safety. "Flock Safety’s decision to expand their aerospace division in Cobb County underscores our region’s strength as a hub for innovation, aeronautics, and advanced manufacturing. At the March meeting of the Government Affairs Committee, Chair Bert Reeves was joined by Atlanta Journal-Constitution political reporter Greg Bluestein. The two discussed the upcoming end to the 2025 legislative session along with federal issues and even Bluestein’s time as a reporter with The Red & Black Publishing Co. newspaper when he was a student at UGA.
