Have you seen these markings on the large pavilion at Gardens North County District Park??? This is the beginning stage of our City’s newest Art in Public Places (AIPP) mural! Artist Ben Heller is painting a mural on the large pavilion and he’s using the “doodle grid” technique. He covers the area with large doodles, marks or shapes creating a chaotic yet unique grid pattern. He then uses the doodles as reference points to transfer and scale up his design onto the wall. This is how he makes sure his art placement is accurate, and the proportions are correct. Be sure to stop by District Park to follow his progress! Has someone called you and asked you to purchase a gift card? Be wary, it could be a scam. Scammers may claim you have a warrant, a family member in trouble, or a debt that needs to be paid off. They'll claim you can solve the issue by purchasing a gift card and giving them the gift card's number and PIN. Remember, gift cards are for gifts NOT payments. To learn more: https://bit.ly/3E05Mi3
