  • The hospital experience is a little more comfortable for children when you bring cuddly teddy bears along. Every year, our Child Life team hosts a teddy bear clinic to help patients understand their treatment in a fun, hands-on way. Patients walk their bears through experiences like triage, radiology, labs and surgery to help them feel more at ease. 🎈

  • Our commitment to making life better for children begins with our great care teams, but also relies on new technologies and equipment to care for more children across the region. Our Plano campus expansion added nearly 400,000 square feet of space, as well as the latest and greatest MRI, CT, IR and Nuclear Medicine equipment. This new equipment includes a new NAEOTOM Alpha CT and a state-of-the-art PET/CT scanner. The addition of this advanced equipment enables our team to improve current services as well as offer new, specialized resources for patients close to home.
