Providing college scholarships and educational counseling to military kids who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

About us

For a young child, nothing can replace the loss of a mother or father. At Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, we work to give those families hope and opportunity – especially the opportunity that comes with a college education. That’s where we – and you – come in. Together, we bridge the gap between existing sources of grants and scholarships and the total cost of college. At Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, our passion is to raise awareness around the country, and to rally support for our promise of making college a reality for those who have suffered the ultimate loss. Not only is a college education crucial to success today, but the entire college experience can teach students valuable life lessons, aid in maturity and introduce them to people who can influence their lives forever. By providing scholarships and long-term educational counseling to their children, we honor the lives of those men and women who gave their lives for our country.

  • Since its establishment in 2002, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation has provided over $72 million dollars in scholarships to over 3,600 children of fallen service members. Our mission is to provide college scholarships to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. This April, the Month of the Military Child, we encourage you to help make a difference in the lives of these children who have given so much. While our nation is not actively at war, the echoes of previous conflicts continue for the children of our fallen. With a projected $300 million shortfall over the next 20 years, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation requires over $150 million over the next four years to support Gold Star children affected by the severe losses in Iraq and Afghanistan. These students are now of college age and rely on CFP’s help to bridge the gap between government assistance and the actual cost of their education. Your donation is more than a scholarship; it invests in a child's future by covering everything from application fees to SAT/ACT prep and even professional development and career opportunities through CFP’s Career Center. Your contribution will have a lasting impact, transforming lives and carrying forward the legacy of their parents’ sacrifice: https://lnkd.in/ePXTf4CC

  • The 10th Annual PepsiCo Rolling Remembrance is now underway! The first flag handoff occurred on Wednesday at the Auburn, WA Distribution Plant, followed by a secondary stop in Tumwater, WA. Thus begins the annual, 2-month long relay across the country raising funds to support Fallen Patriots! CFP Scholar Chandler K., surviving son of US Army First Sergeant Ronald K. shared his family's story, how his father inspired him to pursue his passions, as well as how Fallen Patriots impacted his educational and professional journey. First started by PepsiCo in 2015, Rolling Remembrance is a 14,000+ mile long relay of a war flown American flag from Seattle to New York to benefit Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Using normal business routes, PepsiCo's extensive network of U.S. Military Veteran drivers will pass off a flag to each other at different relay points. To date, PepsiCo has awarded over $3 million to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, providing 480 years of college for our scholars.
