A tech stack should boost growth, not interrupt it. But for too many mid-market companies, the stack has become a patchwork of disconnected tools, outdated processes, and shiny objects no one knows how to use. That’s tech clutter. 💻🗑️ Consider this strategic shift: → Align your stack around the buyer journey, not internal teams. → Prioritize integration and real-time data flow over tool count. → Enable marketing and sales to operate from the same playbook. The goal isn’t just automation—it’s acceleration. Your tech stack should reduce friction, align customer insights, and empower your team to move faster, smarter, and with more confidence. In a world where 92% of B2B buyers are making decisions before they talk to a human, your stack is your frontline. Make it work like one.

Marketing and sales alignment was always a plus. But now, they can't afford to operate in silos—not anymore. When CMOs and CSOs align, business moves faster. Execution sharpens. Growth accelerates. We see it every day: companies with a strong go-to-market partnership between marketing and sales are more efficient, more predictable, and ultimately more successful. But that kind of partnership doesn’t just happen. It starts with understanding the strengths each function brings to the table—and learning from each other. Here’s where that alignment begins: 👉 CMOs who stay close to the sales floor build positioning that closes deals—not just wins awards. They listen for real-time objections, trending pain points, and what actually converts. 👉 CSOs who lean into marketing’s strategic perspective unlock value beyond the pipeline. They get better messaging, more efficient targeting, and stronger differentiation in every conversation. 👉 CMOs help sharpen the ICP, prioritize high-fit accounts, and make sure sales is engaging the right buyers at the right time. 👉 CSOs bring urgency, customer insight, and the daily feedback loop that keeps marketing grounded in what really works. When they work together, the result is a focused, aligned growth engine that scales. We've seen it in action across hundreds of mid-market companies. This is why our model includes both battle-tested CMOs and CSOs—and why our Growth Gears OS unites sales and marketing execution under one strategy, one roadmap, one shared goal. It’s not just about building demand or closing deals. It’s about growing together. https://bit.ly/3RwTot4 ✍️

What CEOs Talked About in 1Q25 | According to the latest IoT Analytics report, three themes stood out in CEOs’ minds in Q1 2025: Tariffs, uncertainty, and AI. AI remained the 2nd most discussed topic at 39% (+12% QoQ), surpassed only by discussions about tariffs. Agentic AI was the leading topic. An AI agent is a system designed to act autonomously to make decisions and take actions to achieve specific goals on your behalf without HITL (a Human-In-The-Loop). Discussions regarding agentic AI rose 275% QoQ. That surpassed mentions of related AI topics such as Copilot, chatbot, and ChatGPT. Now is the time for CEOs to align AI Strategy with Business Strategy to impact your business growth in 2025. | #ai #genai #ceo #agenticai #strategy #business Chief Outsiders Ed Valdez |
