About us

We are a multidisciplinary team researching feeding and eating disorders with expertise in epidemiological, genetic, neuroimaging, and clinical intervention studies. CEDaR is a part of the Clinical Department of Eating Disorders (SPIS) at the Mental Health Centre Ballerup (Copenhagen, Denmark), the Regional centre for adult feeding and eating disorders treatment. We use quantitative methods such as epidemiology, genetics, neuroimaging, behavioural, treatment studies; and qualitative methods. Our mission is to decrease suffering due to feeding and eating disorders, focusing on improving: understanding of how feeding and eating disorders develop, prevention, and treatment of eating disorders through high impact research in a multidisciplinary fashion. We foster a diverse work environment and we care about capacity building and training.
