We’re pleased to announce that a retaliation claim against Carter Ledyard’s client, a specialty pharmacy, was dismissed on March 28, 2025. The court found no merit in the former employee’s allegations. Congrats to our attorneys, Jacob H. We are collectively supportive of women in leadership and proud of our own managing partner, Judith Wallace, in her multiple leadership roles, and in this recognition by Meritas for her position on the Board of Directors!
International Women’s Day is this Saturday, March 8, but we’re taking a moment today to recognize the incredible women leaders within Meritas who are driving action in our organization and the legal profession every day. Meritas Executive Committee: Melissa A. Peña, Esq. Meritas Board of Directors: Fabiana Bruno Solano Pereira, Judith Wallace, Esther Dominguez Martín, Amanda Ferguson Esch, Emma Richmond, Alicia Gutierrez These women play critical roles in strengthening our network, but their leadership represents just a fraction of the incredible women throughout Meritas who have and continue to lead, drive, and shape the future of Meritas and the legal industry. Real progress happens when we take decisive steps, challenge barriers, and champion equity in leadership. As we celebrate today, we also reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive legal community where all talent can thrive. #AccelerateAction #InternationalWomensDay #WeAreMeritas #IndependentButUnited

Our team out in the field learning what the priorities are for clients. Christopher Rizzo and Michael Bauscher attended the New York Building Congress breakfast. CLM's #environmental #realestate #condemnation lawyers understand New York.
New York Runs on Transit: CLM has been a member of the New York Building Congress for a decade and this morning's breakfast with Janno Lieber, CEO of the MTA, and Tom Pendergast, CEO of the Gateway Development Commission, was one of the best programs in recent memory. The highlights included a detailed explanation of the MTA's 2025-2029 capital plan, the vital role of Congestion Pricing and NYBC's update on New York's vibrant and diverse construction industry workforce. I do not normally fawn over events like this, but I left feeling optimistic about New York's mass transit future (and that is a rare feeling).
