A new fast-charging electric vehicle station in downtown Buena Vista is up and running for locals and visitors alike. A joint effort of the Institute of Government, Flint Energies, EnviroSpark Energy Solutions, and Georgia Power Company, leaders hope the new station will draw travelers to explore the city square and drive economic development.

The institute's Scott Pippin has been honored with the 2025 Non-Tenure Track Faculty Research Excellence Award. Congratulations, Scott! At the Institute of Government, Scott is a leader in applied research on community resilience, environmental policy and infrastructure planning. The University of Georgia has received a grant from Craig Newmark Philanthropies to support the UGA CyberArch program. The funding will enable the program to provide more comprehensive cybersecurity services to community organizations and expand training and cybersecurity certification scholarships for interns. https://lnkd.in/eVQRVy8b
