CareFirst volunteers are making a real impact during this #EarthMonth and year-round, from park cleanups to food drives, helping build strong, thriving communities for all. Building on our commitment to supporting the environments in which our communities live, our Action, Climate, Sustainability and the Environment Employee Resource Group (ACSE ERG) and other #DifferenceMakers are teaming up with the Baltimore Tree Trust and Baltimore City Schools to inspire the next generation. They are uniting students, volunteers and local partners to grow a greener Baltimore. #CareFirstCares #GlobalVolunteerMonth

Yesterday was Opening Day in #Birdland! We’re thrilled for another season with the Baltimore Orioles—not just cheering from the stands but working together to make a difference in Baltimore. Together, we developed a program that will support the Harlem Park neighborhood, focusing on various community efforts at Harlem Park Elementary/Middle School. This initiative aims to provide resources and opportunities for students to excel physically, academically, socially and emotionally. Plus, we’re excited to team up with Orioles legend Cal Ripken Jr. to promote our Medicare Advantage plans. Look out for Cal's commercial starting this summer! Our partnership highlights our shared commitment to the community in Baltimore. By joining forces, we maximize our efforts to drive meaningful change, empowering local communities and fostering a brighter future for everyone. Here's to a great season and even greater impact! #CareFirstCares #Baltimore

CareFirst and our #DifferenceMakers are driven by a mission to advance affordable, accessible, equitable, high-quality healthcare for all. 2024 was a year defined by the power of partnership and purpose. Alongside our employees, community, partners and those working every day to improve health outcomes, we focused on innovative solutions, meaningful connections and lasting impact—all in service of our members and communities. That mission and the work behind it are brought together in our 2024 Mission Report—a look at the progress we’ve made, the partnerships we built and the steps we’re taking to support better health and wellness across the region.
