Yesterday was Opening Day in #Birdland! We’re thrilled for another season with the Baltimore Orioles—not just cheering from the stands but working together to make a difference in Baltimore. Together, we developed a program that will support the Harlem Park neighborhood, focusing on various community efforts at Harlem Park Elementary/Middle School. This initiative aims to provide resources and opportunities for students to excel physically, academically, socially and emotionally. Plus, we’re excited to team up with Orioles legend Cal Ripken Jr. to promote our Medicare Advantage plans. Look out for Cal's commercial starting this summer! Our partnership highlights our shared commitment to the community in Baltimore. We’re thrilled to announce a $7.1 million grant that will support 31 community organizations to combat diabetes across Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. This funding will expand local food systems, implement food-is-medicine programs and promote food literacy and health education programs. Together, alongside our partners, we’re addressing the root causes of this chronic condition and making strides towards better health outcomes for our shared communities.
