Last week, several members of our executive leadership team and board headed to Washington, D.C., for two influential events shaping the future of work. 💡 The NAWB Forum 2025 sparked ideas through keynote speakers and innovative breakout sessions by offering fresh perspectives on how workforce boards can adapt to an evolving labor market. Workforce Advocacy Day built on that momentum to Capitol Hill where Nilda and fellow workforce champions met with lawmakers to elevate the conversation around workforce development. Together with CareerSource Suncoast, they proudly presented the Congressional Workforce Champion award to Senator Rick Scott—recognizing his support of programs that connect people to meaningful careers. Our message was clear: workforce boards are essential to building strong communities and resilient economies. As legislation takes shape, we’ll continue to monitor and advocate for policies that uplift both job seekers and businesses. A heartfelt thank-you to our team for representing CSCF at such a pivotal time. National Association of Workforce Boards #Workforce #WorkforceDevelopment #Innovation #FutureOfWork
