Inspiring kids to learn, create & achieve 🍎 A platform proven to boost achievement—for schools, homeschools & families.

About us

For over two decades, BrainPOP has been trusted by educators and parents worldwide to provide engaging and impactful learning experiences for all kids. With a presence in over two-thirds of U.S. districts through school and district subscriptions and an estimated annual reach of 25 million students, BrainPOP is empowering kids to take agency over their learning and excel in and out of the classroom. The company was acquired in 2022 by KIRKBI, the family-owned holding and investment company of the LEGO brand, marking a significant milestone as their first acquisition in the digital learning realm. We are thrilled to continue making learning fun and accessible with the strategic guidance and support of KIRKBI.

  • 4 educator-approved spring cleaning tips to declutter and streamline your day: ✍️ Make a list of tasks to get done around the classroom: Writing down tasks and worries helps organize thoughts and prioritize responsibilities. 🫱🏼🫲🏾 Ask for help from other educators: Seeking assistance and feedback from colleagues can lead to more efficient spaces and stronger professional relationships. 🤩 Ditch perfection and strive for streamlining: Avoid overcomplicating the process. Focus on simplifying your day-to-day tasks to reduce stress. 🔑 Consistency is key: Assign specific places for items in your classroom (and keep them there!) to maintain organization and reduce the need for constant rearrangement. The more you are able to declutter before the school year ends, the better prepared you will be for whatever is around the corner!

Social Media & Content Strategy at BrainPOP | Webby Award Honoree | Youth Advocate | Mom of Two

One year ago today, my team turned our beloved orange robot, Moby, silver for an April Fool's Day joke–which turned into a year-long celebration of incredible brand love, heartwarming storytelling, and just pure joy to be able to lead BrainPOP's first ever cross-functional brand campaign. 🏆 Today, that campaign was named HONOREE for The Webby Awards' Best Community or Fan Engagement - Brand 🏆 Congratulations and thank you for the 1,000th time to Jessica Jalowiec, Jinn Liu, Michelle Brener, Rachel Nevers, Margot Seaton, Mike Watanabe, Sean McBride, Jon Feldman, Demian Johnson, and Harris Goodman.

Strategies to support differentiated instruction: 💡 Accessible Tech Tools: tools such as videos with closed captioning, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech features can support diverse learners. 💡 Interactive Features: Utilizing drag-and-drop activities, differentiated learning stations, and message boards encourages active participation and allows students to express their knowledge in various ways. 💡 Visual and Organizational Aids: Incorporating special fonts, photos, graphic organizers, templates, and digital dictionaries can make content more accessible and help students organize their thoughts effectively. 💡 Creative Expression: Tools like BrainPOP's Make-a-Movie enable students to create their own movies, fostering creativity and providing alternative ways to showcase their learning. Have you ever met your hero? I did yesterday. 🥹 I was an early adopter of BrainPOP when I was teaching in Harlem. So meeting Moby (even in Lego form, which feels fitting given the company's newish home) was a true **MOMENT** for me. I have always been a huge advocate for joy in the classroom, and Moby and the BrainPOP team embody that perfectly. My students’ eyes lit up when they heard the intro song and our lessons weren’t quiet. They were filled with laughter, cheers, and animated reactions...exactly the way I like it. Cheers to finding joy in and out of the classroom. #edtech #education #moby
