Get to Know Tech Support: Michael Isola, Senior Technical Advisor. How long have you been with Betson? 2 years Favorite arcade game to play? Why? Pinball, I like the kinetic energy, The physical play, figuring out the best angles in fractions of a second to hit the necessary targets. It’s almost like playing pool except having to figure out the necessary angles in fractions of a second. What led you to your current position in Tech support? I have been interested in arcade/jukebox restorations since my father introduced us to our first pin back in the mid 1970’s, A Gottlieb Pro Football. My career was originally in IT for many years while I collected various machines with my father. What's your favorite thing about your current job? I enjoy resolving issues with any type of equipment whether it be electronic, electrical or mechanical and the interactions between all three. I enjoy working with the team sharing knowledge with each other making for a better customer experience. Fun Fact About Yourself? I still have the exact pinball machine my parents bought us back in the mid 1970’s. They kept the cash door locked so we had to use our quarters we earned doing chores to play the machine.
