  • The Lung Cancer Screening and Lung Nodule Management Programs has been a significant achievement that has led to hundreds of lung cancer diagnoses, the majority of which are early stage and curable due to early detection. Studying and sharing the work regionally and nationally, and building implementation strategies through national leadership roles and collaborations has allowed Dr. Thomson to see "full scale," the impact of this work. She’s inspired by the patients she sees living every day as a result of this work and the achievements of the trainees she has trained in the clinical and scientific approach to this problem. Thank you, Dr. Thomson, for spearheading this incredible work.
