As far as weeks go... this one has been one of THE BEST. 🥳 Lights, Camera, Investment! 🎥   The past week will go down in history for Bedfordshire. The announcement of Universal Studios coming to Bedford is just adding to the already impressive list of investment in the county!   In the last year, we have discovered that Bedfordshire will be home to £10 BILLION POUNDS of future investment.   📌 Universal Studios Great Britain – will be built right here in Bedford, bringing with it over billions of future investment, and over 28,000 jobs!   📌 Luton Airport Expansion – a plan to double passenger numbers in the next twenty years to 32 million people!   📌 Luton Town Football Club – A new 25,000 seater stadium at Power Court, alongside various new food & beverage and leisure outlets opening around the stadium!   📌 Luton Hoo Redevelopment – Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa is set to close for a full refurbishment, as it plans a full redevelopment in order to achieve its goal of hosting the Ryder Cup!   All of these projects present massive opportunities for local businesses to benefit.   It’s our responsibility as your local Chamber of Commerce, to make sure our members are the forefront of the conversations surrounding these projects – as we try our best to get you to the front of the line.   Bedfordshire will be one of the UK’s biggest tourism hubs – and we want to make sure local businesses benefit!
