Step onto the grounds of Vista Prairie Communities in St. Francis, and you’ll immediately feel the momentum building. Four adjoined buildings—totaling 135 units—are rising together to form a vibrant welcoming community. Inside Buildings A and B, the finishing touches are coming to life. Floors are being laid, cabinets installed, and the paint is drying on walls that will soon welcome residents in both Memory Care and Assisted Living. A short stroll away, Building C—our bustling Town Center—has its framework complete, and we’re gearing up for roofing, rough-ins, and finishing work. Meanwhile, the three-story Independent Living Building D is being topped off with a new roof, and as the seasons shift, site work is kicking back into gear across the property. Site work is ramping back up as well, all while we stay on pace and on budget. With each step forward, we’re honoring our client’s goals and ensuring every detail supports the future well-being of those who’ll call Vista Prairie home. 🥳 We’re excited to announce Garrett’s promotion to Senior Project Engineer! Garrett joined our team in March 2023 as a Project Engineer and quickly made a positive impact on bidding and new opportunities. From the start, he brought enthusiasm, a genuine desire to learn about the building process, and a keen interest in the broader AEC industry. Early this year, Garrett transitioned to work on the U-Square and Avanti projects, where he continually demonstrates his willingness to learn and support his team. Through his dedication, collaborative spirit, and consistent follow-through, Garrett has proven himself to be an invaluable member of our Housing and Project Management group. We look forward to seeing him excel in this new role and are confident he will continue contributing to the success of our organization. Our unique client needed more chemical storage, an upgraded mixing room, and a 2-hour fire-rated barrier for safety—so we got to work. We also revamped their fire protection systems to ensure their team is well-protected on the job. 🚧 U-Haul Loves Park, IL – Time Lapse Video 🎥 Things are moving right along at the job site, and the transformation is really taking shape! 🔹 The 3-story, 84,630 SF building is taking shape! With the third floor poured and roof purlins underway, we're making steady progress. Next up: installing insulated metal panels. Inside, the first-floor locker package is coming together, and fire sprinkler work is wrapping up on the second. 🔹 Over at the 16,744 SF U-Box facility, the roof is nearly finished, and the exterior is coming together fast. With warmer weather on the horizon, we’re picking up even more momentum. Both buildings are on track to be completed by mid-June, and we can’t wait to see the final product!
