During a recent wedding dinner at the Club, the couple opted not to have a traditional cake-cutting ceremony, which meant the top tier of their cake wasn’t saved for their anniversary. Marissa reached out to Lydia, who kindly made a mini version of their wedding cake for them to enjoy or freeze for a future celebration. Brittany personally delivered the cake to the couple's home. We congratulate our Food & Beverage Manager Jared Hedrick for receiving the Exceptional Leadership Award. Since becoming Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in March 2024, Jared has excelled in his role, earning a promotion to Food & Beverage Manager in January 2025. He has taken on staff scheduling, payroll, and onboarding while continuing to lead with dedication. Jared recently passed his WSET Level-1 Wine Exam and became a certified TIPS alcohol safety trainer. His passion for beverages helped create cocktails for the Chef to Chef Conference and BCC’s Harvest Rye, available to members starting March 20. Big news! 🌟 BCC caddies Kevin Flowers & Will Mitchell, Jr. have been awarded the 2025 Evans Scholarship! This life-changing opportunity provides full tuition & housing for four years at a top university. 💚⛳   Kevin (Loyola Blakefield '25) plans to study Kinesiology and Will (Friends School of Baltimore '25) plans to study Business.
