We’re excited to share a glimpse into one of our recent projects on the #London, #Tilbury, and #Southend (LTS) rail route. This extensive electrification project involved the renewal of Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) using cutting-edge strategies to enhance efficiency and safety. Through effective interface management and innovative planning, we maximised output, resulting in significant cost savings and minimised disruption for passengers. The project was awarded the “Infrastructure Achievement of the Year Award” at the National Rail Awards in 2024 for its innovative approach, recognised for "challenging norms and standards" and "bringing overhead line fitment and renewal into the 21st century.’ Want to dive deeper into this project? Huge congratulations from us at Aureos to all of our graduates that delivered their final project presentations last week! 🎉 Each graduate delivered an insightful SWOT analysis on a key area of Project Management, drawing from their experiences at one of the three sites they visited. Following the presentations, we had the opportunity to dive into an "Influencing with Impact" and "Emotional Intelligence" workshop. The discussions were incredibly valuable, highlighting the critical role of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) in career success and exploring individual influencing styles. International Women's Day (IWD) is a significant global event that highlights women's rights every year. This World Book Day we're celebrating our Office Manager, Jayne Richardson, who spends time volunteering with Hunslet Carr School every week. Jayne takes time to listen to children read, as part of the Let’s Read Programme, which is delivered by the Community Learning Partnerships.    Recently, Jayne was supported by Aureos in organising a book donation, which has helped to inspire further reading. Fostering Collaboration and Community at Our Winter Breakfast Our staff at Aureos and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks recently gathered for a Winter Breakfast, celebrating the spirit of collaboration and community with special guests from our charity partner, Unity. The event, hosted by Jim Sutton, Stores Manager at Aureos, allowed employees to network outside their immediate teams while enjoying a delicious breakfast prepared by head chef Jim. The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the chance to engage with one another.
