🌺April is the time to bloom, it's time for a change, as well as the time to further meet our partners from EASD - Environmental Ambassadors for Sustainable Development🐛 🦋 📝 As our society changes, so does the list of necessary skills that every elementary and high school student who wants to navigate the current and future values, as well as labor market successfully should possess. Our team developed STEAM-based model, as a unique multidisciplinary learning model, which is important for the Eco-schools of Serbia that participate in this augMENTOR project. It integrates all these areas into a single system and it is based on the development of creative potential. (STEAM: ⚗️Science🖥️Technology🔧Engineering🎨Art 📐Matchs) By the end of this course, the student will be able to: ✅explain how food, traffic, energy use, irrational consumption and waste affect carbon dioxide emissions and what are the consequences of the growth of the carbon footprint for us and the living world of the planet ✅calculate his/her own carbon footprint using various calculations and graphs ✅explain that CO2 emissions occur during the life cycle of a particular product ✅consider how to make the right choices to reduce his/her carbon footprint 💡This project develops effective learning known as the "four Cs" of 21st-century learning - critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. And – possible “five Cs” – adding climate change, caused by CO2 and other GreenHouse Gases emissions.
