ARC's managing director of community development, Samyukth Shenbaga, was interviewed last week by 11-Alive News. He discussed the hot topic of affording Atlanta and how every city in the 11-county metro Atlanta is feeling the pinch. Since 2018, there has been a loss of almost a quarter of a million affordable rental units. Wages for average workers aren't keeping up with rising housing costs.
