Our client Athletes.org is a players association for college athletes--with more than 4,000 members. Its co-founder and chairman Jim Cavale was interviewed by Sports Business Journal for a story on yesterday’s House v. NCAA settlement hearing, which did not result in a final ruling by Judge Claudia Wilken. “There’s no sustainable future for college athletics without collective bargaining,” Jim told SBJ's Ben Portnoy. “You cannot set these rules, you cannot create these structures without the athletes being involved in the process and agreeing to it.” You can read the story here: https://lnkd.in/gDRT-b4G #sports #sportsbusiness #sportsindustry #sportsbiz #colleges #media #collegesanduniversities #sportsmarketing #communications #news #strategiccommunications #linkedinsport #consulting

Here's the Creator Blueprint we shared with each athlete to help their content win on social media: 1) Craft a STORY 2) Master all three hooks: Visual, Audio and Text 3) Don’t forget the fundamentals: clean audio, add captions, edit out anything irrelevant Jim Cavale Brandon Copeland Sofia Check Zoe Schweitzer Kyle McMahon, M.S.
"Money Game" on Amazon 💰 speaks the truth. For nearly a century, the NCAA maintained a system under the guise of "amateurism," leaving talented athletes broke while coaches and institutions profited from their labor. Now, as players like Livvy Dunne and Angel Reese have secured life-changing deals, we're witnessing both opportunity and chaos in this unregulated landscape. While critics claim NIL is "destroying college athletics," we see it as long-overdue recognition that athletes deserve compensation for their talents. The documentary honestly portrays the challenges of this transition—from the "wild west" of recruitment to the overwhelming pressure athletes face balancing performance and partnerships. This is just the beginning, with revenue sharing and organization on the horizon. This is incredibly important to athletes who've been silenced for generations.

Now, she's channeling her unique perspective into empowering Athletes.org members daily. Her recent college graduate status offers fresh insights that bridge the gap between current athletes and the organization's mission. Zoe doesn't just understand the challenges athletes face—she's lived them. And that's what makes her an invaluable asset to our team and the athletes we serve. #TeamAO #AthleteJourney #EmployeeSpotlight

Last night we filed a Motion for Leave to file an Amicus Brief on behalf of Athletes.org in the House v. NCAA case, attempting to illustrate to the Court the significant issues that college athletes will face even if the settlement is approved and that the settlement is no substitute for a collective bargaining process.
