On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, we hosted our safety award ceremonies in Macon and Columbus. Highlights of these events include presenting the Amerson Supervisor Safety Award to jobsite professionals who led their teams with zero lost time accidents in 2024. We also presented a Safety Leadership Award to Bill Carroll with MetroPower and Joshua Hudson with Pittman Waller Roofing Company, LLC. Company leaders submitted a narrative sharing each of these field leaders' commitment to going above and beyond in mentoring team members. We look forward to hosting 3 more safety award ceremonies during the week of April 14, 2025, in Gainesville, Augusta, and Savannah. It was our pleasure to share the success of the following member companies' field leaders during this week's award programs. Last week, Carroll Daniel hosted teachers who coached students for the 2024 Northeast Georgia Skills Challenge. Carroll Daniel is the regional member champion contractor for the development and execution of this annual high school trades competition offered in Gainesville, GA. Through their fundraising efforts for the event, the company directed over $32,000 of proceeds to participating construction and metals classrooms, helping support industry-relevant curriculum. We are extremely grateful for our "frontline construction industry champions" who are an integral part of building the next generation of industry skilled talent!
