  • 🎉🐾 Exciting news! Thanks to the Banfield Foundation, we've received an incredible grant of over $70K for our Healthy Tails Mobile Clinic! 🚐🧡 Since January, we've aided 75 pets and spayed/neutered 166 pets in the San Carlos Reservation. This grant was not just a one-time solution, but a long-term investment in improving animal welfare across these underserved communities. By helping us maintain and expand our mobile clinic services, the Banfield Foundation is directly contributing to an Arizona where animals and people are given the care they deserve. We are beyond grateful for Banfield’s support—together, we're building a brighter future for pets and their families.🌞 #HealthyTailsMobileClinic #BanfieldPetFoundation

  • BREAKING NEWS‼️ Thanks to a last-minute strategic move, our animal cruelty bill you know as SB 1234 was resurrected. Now rebranded as SB 1658, the animal cruelty bill passed in the House Government Committee with a 6-1 vote earlier this morning. This victory wouldn’t have been possible without Senator Bolick's tireless efforts to keep the bill alive, Representative Blackman's support in ensuring the bill would be heard, and all of YOU who continue to speak up on behalf of the pets in Arizona who need our help. While we were able to keep the bill alive today, we’re not done yet. SB 1658 will go to a vote on the House floor as early as next week. Please reach out to your representatives and urge them to vote YES on SB 1658. Thank you for staying in this fight with us, we are hopeful to see this bill through to the finish line!

  • ⚠️UPDATE: A bill to protect our furry, four-legged friends from deplorable animal abuse overwhelmingly passed the Senate this month as SB 1234. After being transmitted to the House, a saddening effort to kill this legislation transpired. The bill is now being rebranded as SB 1658 and will be considered in House Government Committee Wednesday morning. We are calling on the House to do the right thing, on behalf of the millions of Arizona animal lovers and innocent pets in our state, by allowing this bill to reach the finish line. We will be sure to provide an update tomorrow, after the committee votes on the bill. Thank you all for continuing to fight for pets in our state!

  • Thanks to a $300,700 grant from the Banfield Foundation, the Arizona Humane Society was able to serve free veterinary care to over 2,198 pets in underserved areas, including tribal lands across Arizona.🐾💙 This funding allowed us to expand our services to communities such as the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the Hopi Reservation. With this support, we provided vital veterinary services that directly impacted both animals and their families. 🏥✨ We are deeply grateful to the Banfield Foundation for their ongoing commitment to the welfare of animals in need. Thank you, Banfield Foundation, for your incredible generosity and support!

  • Last week’s Cuddle Bunch Event with JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking was heartwarming! Their commitment to our shelter pets has been incredible—over 200 goodie bags filled with donations this year alone! 🐾 Their annual volunteer efforts showcase how corporate social responsibility can drive positive change. It's inspiring to see teams engaging with furry friends and making a real impact in our community. Thank you!

  • 🚨CRITICAL: WE NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE READ BELOW. 🚨‼️ Senate President Warren Petersen declined to let Senate Bill 1234 be voted on by the full Senate, despite earning a unanimous Committee vote, bipartisan support of eleven legislators and endorsements from statewide law enforcement and prosecutors. SB1234 defines the BARE MINIMUM standards for food, water and shelter for Arizona pets. Please call and email Senate President Petersen TODAY and demand that he allows a vote on Senate Bill 1234. It’s time for Arizona to stop allowing abuse and neglect. 📞: (602) 926-4136 📧: wpetersen@azleg.gov
