Exciting news! The Aramark Healthcare+ Dietetic Internship Program and our Aramark Student Nutrition LOB have launched a new partnership in Texas, providing dietetic interns with hands-on experience in school districts across state. Interns have already begun rotations in Texas schools, and over an eight-week period, they will gain valuable skills in production, retail, and food service management. After months of planning, this initiative not only creates meaningful opportunities for future dietitians but also offers a sign-on bonus for interns who transition into full-time roles post-program, with support from Aramark Collegiate Hospitality. ⭐Interested in our program? Come make an impact with us! Our Dietetic Internship Program focuses on diversity, equity, and community, with preceptors committed to training future registered dietitian nutritionists. Interns will gain the necessary experience to meet licensure requirements and pass the RDN exam. Below is just one amazing example from Broward Health in Florida of how our food, nutrition and catering teams supported our client locations across the U.S. in celebrating National Physician's Week and National Doctor's Day! #WeAreAllCaregivers
Last week I had the privilege to support the Aramark Healthcare+ catering team at Broward Health with their annual Doctors Day event for the second year in a row. Its such a pleasure working with this extraordinarily talented group. Thank you all so much for having me back. Until next time on "The Kitchen Cowboy" Ryan Shinn Jessica Pelkey Barvensky Mazard

Healthcare+ President & CEO Bart Kaericher is also receiving positive feedback and accolades for his ACHE leadership session, "Elevating Hidden Heroes: Recognizing and Empowering Essential Support Staff." Thank you for attending our session, Timothy!
Project Director @ MD Anderson Office of the Chief Medical Executive | Caring, Integrity, Discovery, Safety, and Stewardship
I made my debut at my first American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Congress and a time was had! 🏥 #ACHE2025 Learning from other healthcare leaders was such an awesome opportunity. Of course, seeing fellow MD Anderson Cancer Center leaders in person is always a treat. Out of the number of sessions our team attended, Bart Kaericher’s talk on the importance of the role support staff play in the healthcare system resonated with me the most. I myself was a member of food services team at McLean for 4 years—my first job in a healthcare space. I delivered food to patient/resident rooms, served at the dining room, and even washed the dishes. Bart’s session spoke both to the version of myself in the McLean kitchens and to who I am today at MD Anderson. Bart emphasized that housekeeping, patient transport, and food services staff deserve the same honor and importance we place on clinicians and fellow leaders. They, too, are caregivers and leaders who are spokes in the wheel we call healthcare. Of course, we cannot overlook the amazing stories and insights shares by Evin Wood, Lee Ann Liska, and Esezele Payne. I’m so excited to attend future ACHE Congresses and to continue to do so under the banner of MD Anderson Cancer Center.

On Day 1 of the ACHE Congress this week in Houston, Aramark Healthcare+ hosted a fun and relaxing ‘Skybox Social’ for over 150 guests at Daikin Park, home of baseball’s Houston Astros and proud partner of Aramark Sports + Entertainment. The evening was filled with networking opportunities, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a Houston Astros pre-season game! It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of learning and connecting at the #2025ACHECongress. Special thanks to Ian Brown and Kirby Bittner from the Healthcare+ Growth team for organizing and executing this successful event...and to Jimmy Coatsworth, General Manager of Food and Beverage at Daikin Park, and his entire team, for their top-notch hospitality and fantastic ballpark eats! #ReachForRemarkable

What a day! This morning, during the 2025 ACHE Congress in Houston, our President & CEO Bart Kaericher Kaericher shared his valuable insights on the vital role of healthcare support teams in EVS, Food & Nutrition, and Patient Transport in creating a positive, caring patient experience during a special speaker session, “Elevating Hidden Heroes: Recognizing & Empowering Essential Support Staff.” Hundreds of healthcare industry leaders from across the nation attending #ACHE2025 joined Bart's hour-long leadership session, which was moderated by our own Sr. Director of Innovation Evin Wood, MBA. Bart talked with special guest panelists Lee Ann Liska COO, Vanderbilt University Hospital; and Esezele Payne: Vice President Operations, Advocate Health, about successful strategies for fostering a work environment in which non-clinical support staff understand and feel their value as caregivers. Thank you, ACHE for this incredible opportunity to share our culture of care! #WeAreAllCaregivers
