On December 13th, American Fan had the pleasure of hosting our Annual Holiday Party at the Bennison Event Center! The evening was filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, exciting casino games, giveaways, a dance competition, and our very own FAN-Y awards. We want to extend heartfelt thanks to our Operations team, Engagement team, and, of course, our talented Dance-Off competitors for making the event unforgettable. The Operations team went above and beyond by creating the FAN-Y awards, a fun spin on the "Dundees," to celebrate the joy and camaraderie within our team. The Engagement team played a key role in planning and organizing the festivities, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. And let’s not forget the Dance-Off contestants—Marty, Andrew, Deon, Jim, Greg, and Chuck—who brought the energy and kept us thoroughly entertained. A special congratulations to our Finance Director, Greg Lewis, who wowed everyone and took home the crown as this year’s Dance-Off champion. It was a fantastic way to wrap up a successful year with an incredible team!

Last Thursday, American Fan hosted around 65 senior students from Butler Tech's Welding Program, a local trade school. Our team, including managers from various departments, provided guided tours showcasing our work and processes and learning more about the marine defense industry. Students gained industry insights and participated in a Q&A session, receiving advice as they prepare for their careers. We look forward to welcoming these talented individuals into the workforce and continuing our partnership with Butler Tech and its incredible students. Thank you for visiting!

On November 20th, our team united for Men's Health by wearing BLUE. Throughout the week, we set up a table with pins, stickers, blue-themed candy and chips, and support bracelets. These were available for employees to engage with the cause and learn more about Men's Health. We also captured a memorable group photo featuring everyone who wore BLUE or picked up a BLUE ribbon pin or bracelet. Proud to see our team support such an important cause!

Whether you need ventilation for engine rooms and living quarters or cooling electronic equipment and maintaining air circulation below deck, American Fan by Fairbanks Morse Defense has a solution. The Navy Type CC Fan models (CC1/4 through CC10) provide perfect ventilation for your ship and are designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the marine environment, including saltwater exposure, high humidity, and fluctuating temperatures. Their robust construction and corrosion-resistant materials make them essential for ensuring the safety, comfort, and performance of naval vessels, contributing significantly to the overall success of maritime missions. What sets the Navy Type CC Fan apart is its non-overloading, direct-drive system and the fan impeller overhung on the motor shaft. This rugged yet lightweight fan features rust-proof cast aluminum housing, and special configurations are available to meet your specific needs. Designed to handle flow ranges from 250 to 7000 CFM and pressure ranges from 2.5 to 7.0 WG, these fans are built to meet the stringent requirements of Navy vessels. Our centrifugal fans are crafted to MIL-F-19004 standards, while the motors adhere to MIL-M-17059 and MIL-M-17060 specifications.
