These national practical-skills competitions provide law students a chance to hone the skills they will use as attorneys, including arbitration, negotiation and client counseling. Students also have the opportunity to meet and network with fellow law students and legal practitioners from around the nation. Caroline Ford, 3L at Texas Tech University School of Law and 2-time ABA Regional Champion, shares a meaningful piece of advice she carried with her through various competitions, including the 2024-2025 ABA Arbitration Competition.
