For too long, women’s health has been overlooked, underfunded, and misunderstood. As a result, many women avoid seeking treatment for hormonal health concerns — not because they don’t need it, but because they’ve been made to feel like their symptoms don’t matter. At Allara, we’re setting a new standard for women’s health. Our care model is comprehensive, compassionate, and backed by research. We believe that no woman should have to fight to feel seen or heard in her care. We’re rethinking women’s health from the ground up, and building a solution that ensures all women have access to the support they need. Let’s open up the conversation—your story matters!  💬 What’s held you back from looking into your hormonal health?  💬 Have you ever felt unheard or dismissed by a healthcare provider? To celebrate Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting the past, present and future of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Allara was created to provide evidence-based, patient-centric care to women with PCOS. We’ve since expanded to support patients managing a range of hormonal health conditions, and remain dedicated to improving access to high quality care.  PCOS and hormonal health conditions are, thankfully, beginning to get more attention. We didn’t get here overnight – progress is the result of the hard work of women’s health advocates, healthcare providers, and researchers. In our new blog post, we outline the crucial milestones in the history of PCOS, and share our vision for the future: personalized, evidence-based care that treats the whole person.

Feeling especially grateful this International Women's Day for the incredible women who make Allara what it is- our dedicated team, our supportive investors, and the patients who trust us with their care. It's an honor to be surrounded by so many strong, brilliant, and passionate women who are shaping the future of women's health. At Allara, we believe that knowledge is power- but before knowledge comes something just as important: being heard. Too many women navigating PCOS, hormone imbalances, and other health challenges are left unheard, searching for answers that should be easy to find. That's why we built Allara- to change that. Today, and every day, we celebrate the power of advocating for ourselves and our health. You deserve answers. You deserve care that truly listens. Today, on National Girls & Women in Sports Day, we’re proud to introduce Level the Playing Field—a movement dedicated to ensuring women in sports can compete, thrive, and plan their futures on their own terms. Being an athlete requires unmatched ambition, focus, and drive—but for too many women, the pursuit of excellence comes at the cost of their future fertility. It’s time to change that. We’re thrilled to be partnering with the incredible team at &Mother to shine a light on fertility freedom for women in sports and expose the barriers that make balancing a career and family-building aspirations so difficult for female athletes. Over the past few weeks, we surveyed hundreds of female athletes across 18 sports and all levels of competition to better understand their experiences with fertility, family planning, and career longevity. The insights we’ve gathered are eye-opening—and they make it clear that change can’t wait. 📢 How can you help? 📢 Today, we’re rallying athletes, teams, organizations, and advocates to spread the word. By simply sharing this campaign, YOU can help raise awareness and drive funding for non-profits working to break down these barriers for women in sports. Let’s build a future where women in sports—and all women—can thrive in every aspect of their lives. Let’s level the playing field. 🔗 Learn more and get involved at LevelThePlayingField.co #LevelThePlayingField #NGWSD #WomenInSports #FertilityFreedom

Allara lands $26M to expand women’s hormone telehealth This fundraise is another step in reimagining how women experience healthcare. With this new funding, we’ll be able to expand our services, improve access to high-quality, personalized telehealth care, and expand our insurance covered services nationwide   “This milestone is about more than funding, it’s a powerful validation of our mission to transform women’s hormone health and provide the care that millions of women with chronic conditions have long been denied. Shockingly, over 80% of women with hormone-related conditions like PCOS go undiagnosed or receive inadequate care. The systemic neglect of women’s hormone health has persisted for far too long, and at Allara, we’re determined to lead the change.” - Rachel Blank, Founder & CEO https://lnkd.in/g2WiZ5Q8 #womenshealth #fundraise #seriesB

For generations, women’s healthcare has been narrowly defined by two categories: fertility and pregnancy. But this overlooks the 1 in 3 women who suffer from chronic hormonal conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, hypothyroidism, perimenopause, and more. Ten years ago, Rachel Blank was one of these women. After years of unexplained stomach issues, a chance ultrasound finally revealed she had PCOS. But that diagnosis was just the start of a frustrating journey through a disjointed and siloed care system. Her story is even more striking considering her father runs the largest OBGYN clinic in Washington, D.C. If someone with Rachel’s resources faced these challenges, what does that say about the millions of women in the U.S. with far less access? Rachel channeled her experience into Allara, a virtual care platform that’s redefining women’s hormonal healthcare. By connecting patients with OBGYNs, endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, and other specialists, Allara has helped thousands of women in all 50 states take control of their health. It also addresses critical provider shortages by letting doctors treat more patients virtually while benefiting from competitive reimbursement rates. As healthcare makes the leap from offline to online, Allara is poised to bridge the gap in women’s hormonal health, delivering long-overdue solutions to patients and providers. We couldn’t be happier to lead their Series B and welcome Rachel and the Allara team into the Index family.
