Well wasn’t that a fantastic Thursday morning ✨ The Foundation Network was successfully launched✨ A HUGE Thank you to The Gliding Centre – Husbands Bosworth for hosting us yesterday The Foundation Network is something that myself and Sally. E. Pearce have been working on for the last few years….. …..we have been told by Funders, Non-Profits and Businesses that there is a real need and we know that our expertise will 'Engage Positive Change' I just wanted to mention, what a truly magnificent room of people 🙏 A question that we asked throughout the morning is ‘How are you being Different?’ 🔹 How is your business engaging with the Non-profit community differently? 🔹 How is your charity/CIC/nonprofit engaging with the business community differently? We know that there are..... 🔹 Ever decreasing funding pots 🔹 More Non-Profits being registered every single day – doing similar work on similar matters/causes 🔹 Businesses that are not sure which Non-Profits to support? 🔹 Many Non-Profits having to close their doors 🔹 Businesses that are not aware of some of the Non-Profits in their local community 🔹 Etc, etc, etc To show what different can look like we had some amazing Guest Speakers First up was Chris Desai He showed us his journey working in London in fast fashion, traveling the world and realising that fast fashion is killing the planet. So he created Vayuu, an ethical slow fashion brand and then passionately created UOCEAN® 2050 over the last 4 years it has grown from the UK all across the world.
