✅ That’s a wrap on #ICAM25! The final day in Vienna brought forward-looking ideas and thoughtful reflection as business school leaders explored what’s next for our institutions—and our global society. Across the event, meaningful conversations and collaborations laid the groundwork for long-term impact. Here’s how Day 3 closed out a successful gathering. ⬇️ 🧠 Keynote | Mastering Misinformation Alex Edmans (London Business School) delivered a powerful session on critical thinking in a world full of noise. 💬 “The truth is not enough... the inferences we make from facts may still mislead.” Edmans outlined four layers of misinformation and offered a challenge: help students question their own biases, think in opposites, and always consider context. In a time when information is everywhere, discernment is everything. 🎬 Mastering Storytelling for Business School Excellence This session spotlighted two schools featured in the Leader Generation series: UCL Global Business School for Health and University of San Francisco School of Management—alongside BBC StoryWorks. 💡 Speakers emphasized the power of place, purpose, and passion in bringing stories to life. 💬 “The first step to tracking societal impact is sharing the story—it’s easier than you think.” From interdisciplinary programs to location-led storytelling, these schools are using narrative to amplify their mission. (Imogen Naylor-Higgs, Marzena Nieroda, Otgo Erhemjamts) 🌐 Strategic Alliances: Rethinking Collaboration for Impact Led by WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), University of St.Gallen, and UTS Business School, this panel unpacked the promise and complexity of global partnerships. 💬 “We believe in the power of synergy.” Topics included: • Global virtual courses • Shared calendars and cultural norms • Balancing agility with quality • Aligning alliances with sustainability and equity goals AACSB was cited as a model for how strategic partnerships can drive quality and relevance across borders. (Rupert Sausgruber, Peter Lindstrom, Robyn Johns) 🎤 Closing Remarks | Lily Bi Lily Bi closed out ICAM 2025 with a clear message: embracing ambiguity, AI, and human-centered data will be key to advancing global business education. 💬 “Words matter—but actions matter more.” As institutions navigate shifting global dynamics, Bi emphasized lifelong learning, technology integration, and inclusive values as pillars for future success. 🌍 From misinformation to storytelling, alliances to innovation, #ICAM2025 delivered ideas for both now and what’s next. The event may have concluded—but the conversations and momentum continue. 💭 What insights are you taking back to your institution? #AACSBstory #WeAreAACSB #ICAM25 #BusinessEducation #CriticalThinking #StrategicAlliances #SocietalImpact #GlobalLearning
