When your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Mindfulness is a mental state, not a remedy or an action. As a coach, and specifically a Jungian coach, I would address the blockage experienced by this person. What is between them and the action of setting the career goals, or achieving them? 99 times out of 100, this interference is internal, existing in the unconscious, and through the Jungian coaching modality we can address that.

I believe that mindfulness can not be the absolute answer to this challenge , however, it can definitely play an important role in improving the mental clarity and overall well-being . While it doesn’t solve this problem directly, it allows to pause, reflect, and approach situations with a calmer mindset. That being said, relying only on mindfulness may overlook the need for action or practical solutions such as self development, hard and soft skills, but it’s a tool that can’t be denied for its value in personal growth.
