The first step to solve a problem is to understand the issue. As a team, It is appreciated to be given an platform of safe space to an individual to opine about with prejudice-free ideas or notions towards the choice of the Algorithmic Paradigm. Considering the collective information gathered and appreciating the efforts on sharing the views individually based on the valid key points, insightful thoughts and expertise interest of the positives and negatives of an Algorithmic Paradigm Choice which could lead to meeting the standards and requirements for executing the projects on the go.

In my opinion, finding a common ground among the team on algorithmic paradigms can be achieved through open, collaborative discussions where each member shares their perspective and expertise. Encouraging a culture of respect and curiosity is ideal in such cases.There should be some problem-solving sessions where different paradigms can be applied and compared, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. With a mutual learning and focus on shared goal of effective problem-solving, the team can use multiple paradigms to innovate and move forward efficiently.

How do the various approaches impact output and customer experience or needs? What are the cost and performance considerations? Security or compliance concerns? Speed of delivery? Have the different approaches been tested? What are the advantages / disadvantages of each? Are there short-term / long-term considerations? How will the approaches impact tech debt?

We have to sacrifice something when we choose which algorithm to use. They have their own advantages which brings a disadvantage in some cases. Gathering suggestions within your team and then understanding the problem will lead you to find the effective one. Constraints like speed, memory usage, data size etc will change the further choice.

We need to set the objectives what is required for it like maintainability, cost, efforts required’ duration of implementation etc. After that if go on for looking which algorithm sets good for all conditions and on which factor we need more attention and in which we can compromise.

In this case, if your solution prioritizes performance in terms of speed, then choosing effective paradigm that is excel at time complexity would be a right choice. However, other objectives like memory efficiency, accuracy, or robustness might take precedence in specific scenarios.

This core knowledge helps maintain focus and prevents unnecessary backtracking to the basics. Additionally, the team's skills and experience contribute to a smoother process. Of course, discussions should be open to the whole team, and the pros and cons of everyone's approaches should be considered to find the best solution

It is good to keep in mind that it can bring overhead problems in order to maintain, develop and scale as it requires multiple concerns for each. It’s not necessarily that we can go with only one algorithm we can combine multiple algorithms depending on the conditions there might be the scenario where one algorithm works well with one condition and another algorithm works well with another condition.

If their is divide over algorithm paradigm then it’s best have dialogue over each other algorithm as one can look on the factor that another person is not looking and it will help to understand the pros and cons of applying the algorithm.

So many times I’ve run into this issue where I was not effective. Now after working a bit more on it I realize the fundamental issue usually is relational. Rarely is someone so invested that they’ll push their ideas ahead because it is their idea (else they are usually the sort to be Machiavellian). Make a situation where everyone wins and change your approach as ideas are proven better or worse.

It's a normal part of software development to incorporate new elements, and it's okay not to be on top of everything, especially with the growing use of AI assistance. Spending some time on team development for new solutions is acceptable, but these changes should align with the team's capabilities. Otherwise, it could lead to issues such as team demotivation, stress, and potential long-term problems due to a lack of qualification
