uO Research is the University’s digital repository. An essential component of uOttawa’s scholarly communication system, it a space for collecting, preserving and providing open access to research created by faculty, researchers and students.

The University of Ottawa has a strong commitment to making research available in open access, believing that broad dissemination of knowledge and research without access barriers is a great benefit to society as a whole.
Open journal hosting
The Library supports new modes of publishing by offering an online journal hosting service using Open Journal Systems (OJS) software for the management of the publishing process, including submission, peer-review and online publication.
