Telfer marketing students finish 1st overall at 2010 Happening Marketing
A delegation of 39 Telfer School of Management students won top honours at the 2010 Happening Marketing competition, hosted by the Université de Sherbrooke March 26 to 29, 2010. There was immense pressure to achieve success again in 2010, as the Telfer team has placed among the top three universities in the last two years of the competition.
The uOttawa contingent finished first or second in every academic case this year, winning the overall competition for the first time ever. With a string of yearly successes at national academic competitions such as the Jeux du commerce, the Symposium GRH and the Financial Open, the Telfer students are quickly garnering a reputation as top-caliber competitors.
“I am extremely proud of each member of my delegation. Everyone worked very hard throughout the semester, and it paid off! We have definitely set the pace for the years to come” says Jade St-Laurent, president.
