Looking for a multidisciplinary career, full of challenges and connected to emerging technologies? The School of Information Studies offers graduate programs with a focus on new and emerging technologies – information policy and management of information services. The master’s degree offers the initial preparation for professionals who will work in libraries, archives and information centres. The graduate certificate is intended for professionals who have already earned a master’s degree, but who wish to assume greater administrative responsibilities.

In memoriam: Members of the University of Ottawa community were saddened by the passing of Richard Greene, former University librarian (1989-2002), in March of this year. To commemorate his life and his years of dedicated service to the University and to the library community, the uOttawa Library has established the Richard Greene Memorial fund. Donations to the fund will be used to develop and enhance the library’s collections in the area of information studies, supporting students and researchers at the School of Information Studies.
