Vietnam 🇻🇳 and Laos 🇱🇦 are poised to deepen regional collaboration in the digital economy as both nations increasingly embrace technology-driven growth. Vietnam’s digital economy is projected to reach up to $50 billion by the end of 2025, driven by #fintech, #ecommerce, and #digitalservices. With over 80% smartphone penetration and a rapidly expanding internet user base of 77 million, #Vietnam has become a top-ranked country in digital innovation in #SouthEastAsia region. #Laos, while at an earlier stage, is making significant strides. The adoption of mobile money has grown by over 45% annually, and digital financial inclusion is gaining momentum, especially in rural areas. Initiatives, coming from local players, like Lao Mobile Money are setting the groundwork for broader regional integration. With nearly 6.8 million mobile subscribers in Laos and increasing smartphone penetration, the foundation for digital transformation is steadily being built.
