The report also highlights growing European deal volumes on the back of asset rotation from the US, driven by large sell-downs from private equity and marquee sellers, but IPOs are suffering from trading turmoil. Optimism surrounding the pro-business credentials of the new US administration at the start of the year fueled market activity, but the sentiment has waned as the US now positions itself for trade wars with key partners.
