In-House Legal Counsel

We are currently looking for a In-House Legal Counsel to report into our CFO and work across multiple UK companies covering all legal aspects in areas from factories, procurement and other stakeholders, which will include general corporate legal, compliance and contracts.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the UK team in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents including, but not limited to, resolutions, legal reports, contracts, supplier agreements, NDA’s & commercial licensing agreements

Assist the CFO in handling general corporate legal matters and management of documentation for all UK Group legal companies. Lead training for UK employees with regards to legal issues, compliance and governance covering Anti Bribery, Competition Law, GDPR, Whistleblowing & other areas. Collaborate and report to Group Legal in protecting patents, trademarks, and Intellectual property.

The successful candidate will require a law degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an in-house counsel. Be able to work well in a team, and have a high level of emotional Intelligence. They should also have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a can-do attitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitively through complex matters. They should also have familiarity with legal software applications, including document management systems.
